Dave Franco on Losing 20 Pounds: ‘When You Lose That Much Weight, It Affects You’

Dave Franco stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers and talked about the time he had to lose weight to play a heroin addict in a film, at the exact same time his wife, Alison Brie, was gaining weight to play a wrestler in the Netflix series GLOW.

“I didn’t mess with her at the time,” Franco said. “I couldn’t really stand up for myself.” He added that the weight loss put him in somewhat of a bad mood, something his wife definitely noticed. “At one point though, Alison, she called me out. She’s like, you’re not yourself, you’re not fun to be around, and I’m like, I’m f***ing starving, what do you want from me? And I’m like, I’m sorry, don’t hit me.”
