Dauphin Island man dies in car crash: ALEA

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Dauphin Island man is dead after a one-car crash Friday morning, News 5 has learned.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office breaks silence on Airman Fortson’s shooting death

Thomas H. Clough, 36, was driving a 2015 Ford F-350 around midnight on Alabama 193 near the 13-mile marker, according to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency news release. (The location is approximately 5 miles south of Mobile, in Mobile County.)

Clough’s truck reportedly left the roadway, struck a culvert headwall, and overturned.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to ALEA.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
