New Dauphin County Playa Bowls announces grand opening date

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — A new Playa Bowls franchise in Dauphin County recently announced its upcoming grand opening date for later this month.

A new Playa Bowls franchise will soon be opening its doors at the Park Village Plaza on 659 East Main Street, off Hershey Park Drive near U.S. 322 and U.S. 422.

The new location is going to be situated next to Sheetz and near the Arooga’s in Hummelstown.

Construction on the new 2,300 square foot property began back on Monday, January 15.

Now, about three months later, the new Playa Bowls announced on Facebook that they would make their official debut on Saturday, May 11.

“At Playa Bowls Hershey, it’s not just about food – it’s about embracing positivity, good times, and bringing people together,” Chad Stine, co-owner of the Playa Bowls Hershey franchise previously told abc27 news. “We are thrilled to build a bright and inviting space for Hershey residents and visitors to gather, while providing healthier options to the Hershey area.”

According to the company, the new Hershey location will offer a wide variety of smoothie bowls, oatmeal bowls, smoothies, fresh juices, and coffee. Altogether, the new location will offer 37 signature bowl combinations for guests to choose from.
