Dates to know for the 2024 Pennsylvania Primary Election

(WHTM) — As Pennsylvania’s 2024 primary election approaches, residents across the Commonwealth are making their plans to vote.

Election Day is April 23, but there are several other important dates for voters to know as they decide how they will cast their ballots.

The first of these dates is the voter registration deadline.

According to Pennsylvania law, residents must register to vote at least 15 days before the election. That means voters must be registered by April 8 in order to vote in the upcoming primary election.

Voters can register to vote online, by mail, or at various government agencies, including at Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Photo License and Driver’s License Centers.
