A vehicle crashed into the side of Dr. N.H. Jones Elementary School on Wednesday.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. According to police, a man was caught after he allegedly carjacked an elderly woman at a CVS near Lake Weir Avenue and the stolen vehicle was seen on Magnolia Avenue.

Police said the driver was identified as Michael Jenkins. Officials said he was "high on the drug molly" at the time of the incident.

Officials said officers chased Jenkins until he crashed and caught him after he got out of the vehicle.
