18-year-old killed in Darlington County after Sunday morning shooting, coroner says
DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A man was killed early Sunday morning after being shot along a Darlington road.
Coroner J. Todd Hardee identified the victim as 18-year-old Damon Jackson Jr. He was shot on Meadowbrook Drive off McIver Road and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:30 a.m.
Hardee said the death is being treated as a homicide, with an autopsy planned later this week at the Medical University of South Carolina.
