Dare County Schools announce early dismissal due to weather

Dare County Schools will get out early Wednesday due to the rain.

The possibility for coastal flooding prompted early dismissals and the cancellation of all after school activities. Elementary schools will be let out at 11:30 a.m. Most middle and high schools will be let out at 12 p.m.

First Flight Middle School will be let out at 11:50 a.m.

Parents with concerns about transportation should reach out directly to their student’s school.
