Danville FD rescue kitten stuck in drain pipe

DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — One kitten is now safe and sound after being rescued from a drainage pipe in Danville on May 22.

On Wednesday, Danville firefighters were called to the Schoolfield Elementary School for an animal rescue and crews were informed of ‘purring and meowing’ coming from a drainage pipe on site.

Mill Mountain Zoo welcomes new sloth named ‘Lady’ to the family

Fire personnel were able to get into the pipe and rescued a small kitten that was stuck inside.
