‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro Cheryl Burke Reveals Her Maid of Honor
Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke is making her way through that wedding checklist, with her latest planning revelation being an integral addition to the wedding party: her maid of honor Leah Remini.
Burke posted a photo of Remini sandwiched between Matthew Lawrence and herself this weekend. “She said yes! #maidofhonor,” Burke tweeted Sunday, September 9. “So excited to have you be part of such a special time in our lives @LeahRemini! We’ll be rooting for you at the #Emmys tonight.”

Remini and Burke are longtime friends. In fact, the King of Queens actress even competed on Burke’s smash reality dance series DWTS in 2013, only to return as a guest co-host in 2015.
Long before Burke was even romantically entwined with Lawrence, she foreshadowed that Remini would be involved in her wedding day in some way. “Leah would take over,” Burke told People of her future wedding in 2014. (At the time, the DWTS pro was dating JT Torregiani.) “I never dreamt about a wedding or anything like that. I’m not picky. Leah is. She’s very particular. She’s a great party planner. I know I could leave it up to her, and it’ll be great.”
In fact, Burke even tapped Remini to redesign her home in Studio City, California.

Along with Remini, Burke has tapped fellow Dancing With the Stars pro Kym Johnson to be a wedding party member. The two are still working out wedding details. “We wanted a destination wedding,” Burke previously told E! News. “But then we got the family members in our ear, like, ‘How dare you? That’s so selfish!’ You know how it is.”
Lawrence proposed to Burke this past May with a large art deco-inspired ring featuring a tiny halo. “She said yes,” he expressed at the time.
