Damaged pipe on James River Freeway median closes left westbound lane

Repairs to a damaged pipe on James River Freeway west of U.S. Route 65 near the Glenstone Avenue exit will close the westbound inside shoulder and far left lanes until further notice, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Staging will take place over the next several days, according to MoDOT, and repairs are expected to take 14 days to complete. Crews will be making repairs to a damaged pipe in the median and will excavate the area.

Drivers are being encouraged to consider alternative routes until the damage is fixed. Delays are expected during high-volume traffic times.
