Dallas weather: Storms move through North Texas Saturday night

There will be rain and a few storms at times, but there will be plenty of opportunities to get out and do things.

Saturday Forecast: Stormy Night

Once we get past sunset, the storms crank up.

There is a 80% chance of rain after dark.

Expect frequent lightning strikes for the system, along with a chance of small hail.

As the night goes on, this will be predominantly a heavy rain and flooding threat.

An isolated storm or two may produce wind gust up to 60 miles per hour.

Areas to the south and west have seen Flood Warnings.

Sunday Forecast: Quieter Weather Day

We could see some lingering showers on Sunday morning, but for the most part Sunday should be a fairly nice day.

High temperatures are expected to reach 80 degrees at DFW Airport, with lows in the high 60s.
