Dale Earnhardt Jr. to race in Food City 300 at Bristol this fall

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — Dale Earnhardt Jr. will get behind the wheel once again for this fall’s Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway, JR Motorsports announced Thursday.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series race is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 20 with a start time of 7:30 p.m.

Which schools will dismiss early or be closed for the April 8 solar eclipse and why?

In last year’s race, the NASCAR Hall of Famer ran in the top 10 and led for 47 laps before an electrical fire ended his night with 29 laps left. He finished in 30th.

Earnhardt Jr. will drive the blue, yellow, and white Hellmann’s No. 88 Chevy Camaro.
