Dairy Queen offering BOGO Blizzards for 2 weeks in April

(WBOY) — Those who use the DQ mobile app can get a sweet deal on the newest Blizzard flavors this month.

Last week, the “fan food, not fast food” restaurant announced that it was bringing back more than 170 Blizzard flavors from past years through the new DQ Freezer website. To let fans take advantage, there is also a buy-one, get-one deal available in the DQ app.

The BOGO deal will be available from April 1 to April 14 to give ice cream lovers a chance to try this year’s summer Blizzard menu, which includes the new Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Party, Picnic Peach Cobbler and Ultimate Cookie, along with the return of the Frosted Animal Cookie, Brownie Batter and Cotton Candy.

The deal can be applied to any size Blizzard to get a free one of equal or lesser value in American DQ stores.

“This summer, we invite all fans to celebrate the return of their all-time favorite flavors while creating new memories with family and friends,” Maria Hokanson, executive vice president, said in a press release.

To get the BOGO Blizzard, purchasers must sign up for an account in the Dairy Queen app using their email and phone number. In most cases, only one deal in the DQ app can be used at a time.
