Dairy Queen in Neenah holds K9 Fundraiser through Archie’s Famous Popcorn

NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Dairy Queen in Neenah held their K9 Fundraiser on Thursday to support the K9 programs from the Menasha, Fox Crossing, and Neenah Police Departments.

The Dairy Queen known for selling Archie’s Famous Popcorn had a twist during the fundraiser, making the popcorn blue in honor of National Police Week.

Law enforcement raised over $3,300 last year, which helped bring K9 Koda to the Menasha Police Department. Officials say that police rely on donations to make these programs successful.

Jason Koslowski, owner and manager at the Dairy Queen in Neenah, says he believes in giving back to the community.

“A lot of people are positive that we’re doing things with the community,” stated Koslowski. “We’re trying to help out, giving back. We just want to make sure that the community knows that we support them and they’re very supportive of us too.”

Dairy Queen in downtown Neenah will be open until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
