Dad Photoshops his daughter into dangerous situations and it's A+ dad'ing

A necessary skill for all sinister parents in the digital age: Photoshop.

Dublin-based designer and dad Stephen Crowley has mastered the fine art of lovingly Photoshopping his daughter Hannah into situations that would give most parents a heart attack. His convincing work can easily fool someone taking a quick glance, leading to plenty of double takes and a few shocked people.

Hannah, now 18-months-old, was diagnosed with a rare immune disorder called HLH, and spent six months in the hospital where she received chemotherapy, and eventually, a bone marrow transplant from an anonymous donor.

Thankfully, Hannah's health has improved, and Crowley says "she's lots of fun, always smiling, and has a great sense of humor given what she's been through so far."

"Because we missed out on so much normal stuff of the first year, we take tons of photos now that we're able to do normal things out of isolation," Crowley wrote in an email.

Crowley thought it would be fun to worry his family a bit by putting someone so delicate into a precarious situation, all without creating any actual danger.

Since the Photoshops started gaining attention on the internet, Crowley hopes to use some of that viral fame to raise awareness for Be The Match, a bone marrow registry that connects donors with people in need. Crowley says out of 27 million worldwide donors, only three were suitable for Hannah.
