This dad's letter to a teacher defending his son deserves a massive A+
There was nothing sweeter at school than the surprise of having your parents take your side over the side of your teacher.
But if they actually confronted them it was even better.

On Tuesday, comedian Seann Walsh shared an old letter he said his father wrote to his teacher after he got in trouble back in his school days.
A letter from my dad to a teacher during my school years. I think the appropriate emojis are 😂 and 🙈. “Life’s hard enough” 👏👏👏 pic.twitter.com/CouOv26etw

That final line is the real killer: "Isn't this just a little bit petty? Life's hard enough."
Walsh's letter has so far been retweeted over 5000 times. People certainly seem to empathise with it.
Life is definitely hard enough. https://t.co/Dz62J8yBdU

Oh, and in case you were wondering, the second "n" came later.
The second n is an affectation?

At 16, American Pie was my favourite film. Stifler was my favourite character played by Seann William Scott. The extra N was born. Do I regret it? Yes
