Dacre Montgomery Thinks Potential ‘Power Rangers’ Sequel Isn’t ‘Out of Sight’

We sat down with an exclusive interview with “Stranger Things” star Dacre Montgomery -- would he love to do a “Power Rangers” sequel, and doesn’t actually think the possibility of a second film is “out of sight.” “I think that cast, we’re like family — we have a little group chat — we all would love to do a sequel,” Montgomery told TheWrap’s Beatrice Verhoeven during a recent interview. “I know we’d all be there in a heartbeat and if something does come through the woodwork, which I’m not suggesting it wouldn’t — I actually don’t think it’s out of sight, but if it does, we’d be very excited to do a sequel.” Montgomery starred as Jason, also known as Red Ranger in Lionsgate’s “Power Rangers” film earlier this year. The Dean Israelite-directed film also starred Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Ludi Lin, Becky G., Elizabeth Banks and Bryan Cranston.
