DACC to host spring career fair

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will host a spring career fair from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 3 at the DACC Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina Street.

The fair will be open to all DACC students regardless of major and programs, according to a press release sent by DACC. Local employers will be available for those seeking employment.

DACC says students will also have access to receive resume help before the fair through Student Navigate.

The college will also debut its new “Career Closet,” which will be located at the Espina campus in Alex Sanchez Hall, room 96, that same day.

DACC says the closet provides free professional dress attire to students for job interviews, job fairs and/or other necessary events. Students may use the closet by meeting the qualifications listed here.

Additionally, students and the public are encouraged to utilize the college’s Career Coach, which is a new tool aimed at helping alumni and employers search for jobs and employees, according to DACC.

DACC says Career Coach is a free and easy way for students and alumni to search and find employment. The site offers an interest assessment, career options, internships, educational programs and more.
