DA: Suspect in Raymond homicide pleads not guilty

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The suspect in the Raymond homicide case from February has pleaded not guilty, the Madera County District Attorney’s Office announced on Wednesday.

On Friday, March 29, 60-year-old Lenny Sciacca of Visalia was arrested following the homicide of 40-year-old Nicole Kunz.

Officers say Kunz was found dead in the bedroom of a remote home off Raymond Road in Madera County back in February. Siacca’s Visalia residence was searched on two separate occasions, resulting in his arrest on Friday.

On Wednesday, the Madera County District Attorney’s Office said Sciacca pleaded not guilty on all charges in the Madera Superior Court. No bail is available and his next court appearance is scheduled for Monday, April 8 for bail review. His preliminary hearing is April 15.
