Hey, what's former Rep. Anthony Weiner up to these days? Lots of things! But mainly he just stays at home and tries to be a good father to his son Jordan, while wife Huma Abedin is out and about and travelling the world in her capacity as Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. But sources say he also "occasionally offers paid political advice to associates who seek him out." But apparently he "still hasn’t figured out what his next real act will be." Weiner resigned from the House last June after that infamous lewd texting kerfuffle. [New York Post]

Francesca Eastwood -- Clint's daughter, who stars in that Eastwood family reality show we still can't believe is happening -- and her boyfriend Tyler Shields have "incurred the ire of fashion fans and the general public alike" (on Twitter) by taking a chainsaw to a $100,000 red crocodile Hermes Birkin bag, and then setting it on fire just for good measure. Death threats have apparently ensued. Eastwood, reportedly, has told friends that her critics just don't understand art. [Page Six]

Will Ferrell and Gordon Ramsay were both injured during a charity soccer match yesterday in Manchester. Ferrell's injury occurred when he attempted a slide tackle, a maneuver that left him "in obvious pain with a leg injury." Ramsay went down with what sounds like heat exhaustion: he had to have oxygen administered before being taken off the pitch on a stretcher. Edward Norton, Mike Myers, Woody Harrelson, and Gerard Butler were among the celebrities who escaped the game -- which was played to benefit UNICEF -- without injury. [Radar]

Today, in honorary degrees: Robert De Niro got one from Bates College. Because nobody screams 'Bates College!' like the man who played Max Cady. (He also gave the commencement speech. Unconfirmed: the rumor, started here, that De Niro repeatedly demanded of grads "What's the color of the boathouse at Hereford? What's the color of the boathouse at Hereford?" ) [Inside Track]
