- Veteran rider Geraint Thomas gave embattled Team Sky boss Dave Brailsford his full support whilst claiming the whole team were behind him. A report in Cycling News quoted an unnamed Team Sky cyclist saying he and other riders were considering calling on Brailsford to resign. They are concerned the bad publicity engendered from what was in a package delivered to the team doctor towards the end of the 2011 Criterium du Dauphine for Bradley Wiggins was beginning to affect their form. As a result the rider claims they see Brailsford -- who has masterminded Team Sky's rise to be the dominant team in road cycling -- as part of the problem. "It shouldn't even need saying, but we all back Dave B 100%!!! I've known him a long time and I wouldn't want anyone else leading @teamsky," tweeted Thomas.
