Cyber-Bullied 5th Harmony Member Performs Empowering Dance on 'DWTS'

On Dancing With the Stars, 5th Harmony member Normani Kordei opened up about the backlash she endured after fans felt she had thrown shade at her bandmate Camila Cabello. During an interview last summer Kordei had trouble coming up with something nice to say about Cabello, and fans took it as a slight on Cabello. Kordei said that after the incident, "I got bullied on social media, an interview was taken out of context, and people were calling me the n-word. It was really ugly." She went on to say that much of the bullying was racially charged, "They made images of me being whipped, beaten, hung." The bullying was so bad that Kordei took some time off of social media. And the pop star was still clearly upset over the whole ordeal, as she got teary eyed while discussing it. Her partner Val Chmerkovskiy choreographed a contemporary dance to help her heal. And the performance was so good that she received a perfect score from all of the judges.
