Curtiss-Wright increases quarterly dividend by 11 percent

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (AP) -- Curtiss-Wright Corp., an engineering firm based in Parsippany, N.J., said Tuesday that it is increasing its quarterly dividend by 11 percent.

The company's new dividend of 10 cents per share is payable July 12 to shareholders of record as of June 28. That is up from its most recent dividend of 9 cents per share.

Curtiss-Wright said that the dividend hike reflects its confidence in its ability to deliver solid revenue and improve its profitability, as well as its strong balance sheet.

The company's shares increased 15 cents to $34.98 by late afternoon, in line with broader market trends.
