Why Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson performed next to a dancing John Travolta
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson revealed the origins of a video in which he can be seen performing onstage with a dancing John Travolta.
During an interview on Live With Kelly and Ryan, Jackson said that he was performing at the Cannes Film Festival to promote Travolta’s movie, Gotti. Rapper Pitbull was supposed to perform at an event but when he was unavailable, 50 Cent was asked to perform.
The performance gained lot of attention.
Jackson said that his love of the film Pulp Fiction made him fly last minute to perform and he’s happy he did. The two are apparently friends now and have each other’s phone numbers.
But don’t expect Jackson to take any trips on Travolta’s famous personal airplane soon. Jackson said that he joked, “When you get money and do things like get your own plane and fly it, that’s when you’re going to make the mistake, right, and just fly into something.”
