Labor Day was created as a "celebration of the American labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of workers." But in truth its become an excuse to buy discounted goods and lounge about in various states of undress and/or sobriety. Fair enough. If you're looking to take advantage of that three-day weekend around Seattle, there are plenty of fun options to be enjoyed. Obviously, Bumbershoot dominates the social calendar, but there's also PAX for the people who like to dress up, H.P. Pubcraft Lovecrawl for the people who like to drink and a Seattle Sounders match for the people who like to do both. Check out our map below of ten options sure to keep you laboring with fun all weekend long.
