Cumberland man arrested in West Side knife incident

Apr. 16—CUMBERLAND — A city man was jailed without bond Monday after he was arrested for an alleged incident on North Allegany Street where he allegedly threatened a victim with a knife, according to Cumberland Police.

Richard Lynne Boudah, 40, was taken into custody on a warrant issued in connection with the March 14 incident in the 100 block of North Allegany Street, police said,

Boudah was charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, dangerous weapon with intent to injure and related offenses before he was ordered jailed at the Allegany County Detention Center by a district court commissioner.

Police said the incident stemmed from a disturbance. There were no injuries in the 2:23 p.m. incident, police said.
