Cumberland County Sheetz receives preliminary approval

HAMPDEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — A new Sheetz location in Cumberland County recently received preliminary approval from Hampden Township.

According to Township Manager Keith Metts, on Thursday, March 28 the Board of Commissioners conditionally approved the preliminary land development plan for a newly proposed Sheetz on 4415 Carlisle Pike.

The preliminary land development plan says that the new location will be 6,139 square feet and will feature six fueling stations along with 45 available parking spaces.

Mettz says that Sheetz will need to submit and present a final land development plan to the Board of Commissioners at a future meeting before breaking ground on the new Hampden Township project.

Harrisburg area Sheetz now open

Recently, ABC27 news covered the reopening of the greatly anticipated Sheetz location on 2300 Colonial Road in Linglestown, Pa. In addition to this reopening, a new Lebanon County Sheetz also made its debut on 2150 Cumberland Street back in February 2024.
