Cumberland County adds additional hours for voters to hand-deliver ballots

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Cumberland County voters who hand deliver their voted mail-in or absentee ballots will have additional time to do so ahead of the April 23 primary election.

Voters can hand in their ballots to the Cumberland County Bureau of Elections, located at 1601 Ritner Highway, Suite 201, in Carlisle, during regular hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Additional hand-delivery hours will also be offered at the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, April 18, 4:30 – 7 p.m.

  • Saturday, April 20, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

No other voter services will be offered during those times.

Dates to know for the 2024 Pennsylvania Primary Election

The last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot is Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Postmarks will not be accepted.

Completed mail-in or absentee must be received by the county election office by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Postmarks will not be accepted.

On Election Day, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
