Cubs fans leave ugly NLCS Game 3 early, get trolled hard by L.A.
Fair or not, Los Angeles Dodgers fans have a rep: They show up late and they leave early. Hey, Los Angeles traffic ain’t nothing nice.
L.A. as a whole got a little of comeuppance Tuesday night, as their beloved Dodgers clobbered the Chicago Cubs in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series. The Cubs lost an ugly one, 6-1. It was pretty much out of hand by the sixth inning, as the Cubs looked deflated and generally overmatched.
And what did Cubs fans do? You guessed it: They left Wrigley Field early. So Dodgers fans got their jokes off, as you’d expect:
Cubs fans: "Dodger fans always leave games early!"

But hands-down, the quip of the night went to Metro, L.A.’s local transportation agency, which hit Chicago with this one:
Happy to see our friends and colleagues at the @cta providing great service to all the @Cubs fans leaving the game early! ⚾️

Ouch. If things don’t get better for the Cubs, they’re gonna be leaving the playoffs early too.
