CU-Mansfield fundraiser raises over $65K for its students

MANSFIELD, Pa. (WETM) – The 24-hour online giving event “Mounties All In” held by CU-Mansfield last month raised over $65,000 to support students on its campus.

Mounties All In Day of Giving took place online from 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, to 8 a.m. on Friday, April 19, giving people the opportunity to donate to different programs supporting Mansfield students for 24 hours.

During this time, 434 donors raised $65,121 which will provide support to students through scholarships, as well as academic and athletic programs, on the Mansfield campus.

CU-Mansfield to hold 24-hour online giving event on April 18

For the day of the event, donors were given a variety of gift-matching opportunities and challenges to help prompt them to donate to the event.

Updates were posted on CU-Mansfield’s social media accounts throughout the day to help donors track donations in real-time and to view personalized messages from different faculty members, students and coaches.
