PETOSKEY — The Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey recently announced that Angela Morris will be its next president.

The position became available following Megan DeWindt’s resignation in late February.

According to a press release from the Crooked Tree Arts Center (CTAC), Morris first joined the arts center as the regional development manager in June 2023. She has worked on the 50th Anniversary Campaign and the organization's memberships and annual giving programs.

Prior to joining CTAC, Morris worked as development manager at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts and also has a background in diverse marketing and communications roles.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Public Relations from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Business Administration and an Advanced Studies in Project Management Certificate from Ferris State University. In May, Morris will also be graduating with Leadership Little Traverse’s Class of 2024.

"I feel incredibly fortunate and honored to be selected as CTAC's next president,” Morris said in a statement. “I am eager to collaborate with our outstanding team and board of directors and to continue the important work we are doing to make a positive impact on the community.”
