CSPD: Overnight shooting near Garden of the Gods Road
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating after police were called to shots fired in the overnight hours of Thursday, April 18.
According to CSPD, on Thursday at around 11:45 p.m., officers were called to the 4200 block of Sinton Road near I-25 and Garden of the Gods Road. When police arrived they found a man with life-threatening injuries.
The man was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene and are investigating. CSPD said a suspect is not in custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
