Crown wraps up arguments in Calgary psychiatrist sex assault trial

CALGARY - The prosecutor in the sexual assault trial of a Calgary psychiatrist says the alleged victims were sitting ducks.

Dr. Aubrey Levin, 74, is accused of molesting nine of his patients who were ordered by the courts to see him.

In his final arguments, Bill Wister told the jury there is no proof the patients were jumping on a bandwagon by coming forward with complaints.

Wister says these were the last people on earth a psychiatrist would expect to speak out.

The jury has seen secret video taken by the chief complainant showing Levin massaging his genitals for 15 minutes.

Levin has said he was conducting an examination to check for sexual dysfunction.
