Crowder Softball Sweeps Eastern Oklahoma State College at Home

NEOSHO, MO – Crowder softball swept Eastern Oklahoma State College at home on Friday afternoon.

Crowder won game one 8-0, courtesy of another great pitching performance from sophomore Jensyn Elder with 10 strikeouts and no earned runs. The Roughriders would soar with a huge first inning, and cruise their way to a run rule victory via a Mia Sarwinsky walk-off extra base hit in the 5th.

In game 2, Crowder’s bats continued to work Eastern Oklahoma’s defense. Arene Landon-Lane and Mazzi Jones drove in the first two runs, followed by a Lydia Feiste 2-run homer into left field. Crowder would go on to take game 2 11-1.

Up next, Crowder will face Northern Oklahoma in a double header on Friday, March 1st, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
