74-year-old woman dies in Longs house fire

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — An early morning fire in the Longs area left a 74-year-old woman dead, officials said.

Jeanette Livingston was found dead inside her home in the 3000 block of Bombing Range Road about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said.

Horry County Fire Rescue crews arrived on scene just before 2 a.m., and a spokesman said two people were sent to the hospital. Authorities said the incident remains under investigation.

It was the third structure fire in less than 24 hours that broke out in Horry County, with blazes at a Carolina Forest apartment complex and an area outside of Conway also leading to displacements and property damage.
