Crimea hit by explosions: Oil depot near Simferopol in flames

A series of explosions shook the temporarily occupied Crimea overnight, as reported by the pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel Crimean Wind on March 24.
Drones reportedly targeted the oil depot near the village of Hvardiyske, with explosions heard in the Simferopol district and its suburbs.
Media sources also noted smoke emanating from Hvardiyske and approximately 20 explosions.
According to Crimean Wind's reports, a significant fire broke out at a Russian oil depot near the Ostryakovo railroad station following a drone attack on Hvardiyske. There are indications that a garrison in Hvardiyske may have been affected.
The roadstead across the bay in Sevastopol has been blocked, and vessel navigation restricted. Additionally, a powerful explosion was reported in the village of Sovetske.
On the evening of March 23, an air raid alert was issued in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. Explosions were reported in the city, with firefighters dispatched to the scene. The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, claimed that Russian air defenses intercepted several aerial targets.
