Crime Reports: Unknown suspect steals $2,300+ worth of items from 2 vehicles on the same block

Incidents

1600 block of South 7th Street – Terroristic Causing Fear of Imminent Serious Bodily Injury
Two neighbors were allegedly arguing when one man pulled out a knife, causing the other neighbor to fear for their life.

1400 block of North 4th St. – Assault
A man reported that he was assaulted by another man while waiting for a homeless resource center to open.

2600 block of S. 39th St. – Criminal Mischief
A teenager reported that an unknown person broke the window at her home.

1400 block of N. 4th St. – Assault
A man reported that two unknown Hispanic men attacked him and hit him with a chain.

8000 block of Saddle Creek Road – Criminal Mischief
Police said after a road range incident, a victim’s vehicle was keyed, causing a large amount of damage.

4300 block of Antilley Rd. – Theft of Property
A Texas license plate was reported stolen.

4500 block of S. 1st St. – Theft of Property
Jewelry and tools valued at $1,600 total were reported stolen.

1200 block of S. Willis St. – Harassment
A woman told police she received repeat, amarming, and annoying communications from one person.

600 block of Woodlawn Drive – Family Violence Assault
A woman told police that her boyfriend kept her from leaving her home, strangling her in the process.

2800 block of Ambler Avenue – Criminal Trespass
A suspect was caught on video trespassing.

2400 block of Buffalo Gap Rd. – Credit or Debit Card Abuse

100 block of Sayles Boulevard – Theft of Property
A business told police an unknown suspect called and asked for an undisclosed amount of money to be deposited into their account. The business reported to be out of $6,000. Police are investigating.

2100 block of Swenson St. – Publish of Intimate Visual Material
A man reportedly shared unsolicited sexually explicit content of himself with an ex-girlfriend who then shared the image(s) with others.

600 block of N. Jefferson Dr. – Criminal Mischief
An elderly woman told police an unknown suspect used an object to shatter her window.

1500 block of Anson Avenue – Theft of Property
A man told police his ex stole his Motorola cell phone valued at $350.

2100 block of Beechwood Lane – Family Violence Assault
A 17-year-old told police that her 19-year-old boyfriend pushed her over a table, wrestling over a phone. The victim hurt her leg. She is not pressing charges.

3100 block of Winter Hawk Dr. – THeft of Property
A victim said her Samsung cell phone valued at $450 was taken without her consent.

1500 block of Anson Av. – Family Violence Assault
A woman said her husband assaulted her.

3000 block of Cherry Bark – Theft of Property
A man told police an unknown suspect stole his trailer valued at $1,000.

300 block of Northway Dr. – Credit or Debit Card Abuse
An elderly man said his great granddaughter stole his debit card and took $800 out of his account without permission.

2900 block of N. 2nd St. – Theft of Property
A cell phone valued at $1,800 was reported stolen.

500 block of Miller St. – Burglary of Habitation
Jewelry, a Samsung television, and cookware were reported stolen.

2400 block of S. 25th St. – Fraud Use/ Possession of Identifying Info

1600 block of Roosevelt St. – Family Violence Assault
A woman was reportedly arrested after assaulting her cousin.

1300 block of Marshall St. – Assault of a Pregnant Person

1600 block of Highway 351 – Assault
Police say an unknown suspect assaulted a victim after arguing with her about panhandling at a grocery store.

900 block of Meander St. – Family Violence Assault
No further information released.

3700 block of Scranton Ln. – Family Violence Assault
A woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting her adult son.

1000 block of S. 2nd St. – Assault
A woman was hit in her head by a bottle thrown by an unknown suspect.

1800 block of S. Clack St. – Theft of Property
A woman told police her Apple cell phone was taken from a bar. Upon checking its location, her phone showed that it was at an apartment across from the bar. Attempts to make contact were not successful. The phone was valued at $500.

2700 block of E. Lake Rd. – Family Violence Assault
A woman was assaulted by her husband during an argument, leaving visible injuries. The husband was soon after arrested to prevent further acts of violence.

1200 block of Harmony Drive – Criminal Mischief

1300 block of S. 14th St. – Credit or Debit Card Abuse
While police investigated a theft, they discovered unauthorized purchases on the victim’s bank card. Police caught a man committing the card abuse. He purchased a Playboy wallet valued at $60, and several other items valued at $20.

1600 block of HWY 351 – Theft of Property
A woman was arrested after allegedly stealing $700+ worth of household goods.

1300 block of Westheimer Rd. – Burglary of Vehicle
A victim told police someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole the following items: Apple laptop, Apple iPad, Northface backpack, Coors Beer cap, and 2 Ranch caps. The items were valued at $1,510.

1900 block of Denton St. – Family Violence Assault
Police responded to a disturbance in South Abilene, finding a victim who was assaulted by her adult son with a visible injury.

1800 block of 8th St. – Criminal Mischief
A woman told police her vehicle was damaged while parked outside of a school.

1400 block of Westheimer Rd. – Theft of Firearm
A victim said an unknown suspect entered her locked vehicle and stole a firearm and other property. All items stolen were valued at $850.

1700 block of Pasadena Dr. – Criminal Trespass
A man was warned “multiple times” of trespass by police. He was arrested.

UNLISTED LOCATION – Family Violence Assault
Police were called out on a Check Welfare Emergency call, which resulted in a Family Violence Assault.

1300 block of S. 14th Street – Assault
A man told police he was assaulted at a South Abilene business.

300 block of N. Judge Ely Blvd. – Robbery
A convenience store was reportedly robbed by two unknown suspects. Officers were unable to locate the suspects.

A lawnmower valued at $650 was reported stolen.
