Felonies

The following people were booked into the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail in connection with felony charges ending Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Johnny Dillard, 38, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon, trafficking ecstasy, trafficking fentanyl, trafficking hydrocodone.

John Tyler Gray, 34, of Mooreville, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, possession of a stolen firearm.

Sharleen Michelle Halbert, 47, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Mississippi Department of Corrections, violation of probation.

Franqui Talamantes, 30, of D’Iberville, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, felony possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine.

The following reports were filed Wednesday by the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

A County Road 1029, Tupelo, woman reports that her county-issued garbage can was missing or stolen. The last time she saw the Waste Management can was May 17. When she called the company, she was told she would need a police report to get a replacement.

A Birmingham Ridge Road, Saltillo, man said the neighbors across the road were causing a disturbance around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. He said a male was yelling and using profanity, and the man could not let his grandkids go out to play because of the foul language. The man said he walked to the edge of his property and told the suspect to “take the yelling inside.” The suspect did go inside but came back out with a hammer. He said the suspect did not threaten him or display the hammer in a threatening manner.
