Crews battle house fire in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Firefighters said they were working to put out a house fire in the Bailey’s Crossroads area late Tuesday afternoon.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue posted on the X platform at 5:21 p.m. that when crews arrived at the home, located in the 5800 block of Colfax Ave., they saw flames on all floors of the home.

Crews battle house fire after reports of explosion in Fairfax County

FCFR said in its post that firefighters were trying to bring the fire under control and that no one was hurt.

A follow-up post at 5:59 p.m. said the fire was out.
