A citation was issued to a driver involved in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, about 4:14 p.m., a 2014 Ford Escape, driven by Kylee J. Lamasters, 22, of Creston, was southbound on Elm Street, when the Escape was hit by a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Justin C. Parsons, 19, of Creston.

A passenger in the Escape said the Malibu, which was westbound on Clark Street, ran a stop sign before colliding with the Escape. The occupants of both vehicles were checked by medics at the scene and cleared. Parsons was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
