Something peculiar is happening on Snapchat.

The app has released four original “Snap to Unlock” Snapchat filters designed by Tim Burton himself. With his signature spooky doodles illustrating your snaps, your goth cred will skyrocket instantly.

Users can unlock these special filters using special Snapcodes which can be found online or on select TV commercials, or at the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Marc Jacobs window at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store in NYC. You lucky New Yorkers, you.

In addition to releasing the Tim Burton designed filters, Snapchat is “peculiarizing” five of their most popular lenses.

For the first time, users can unlock a peculiar version of their favorite lens by using a facial trigger.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children hits theaters on September 30, 2016.

(My horoscope said the 30th would be a lucky day for Virgos, and now I know why!)

The filters are available today only before they disappear into the ether, never to be seen again.

Personally-speaking, I have to admit I don’t understand Snapchat (I’m so goth, I still live in the Victorian era), but I’ll likely spend the rest of the afternoon trying to figure it out so that I can use these filters and lenses. I’ll consider it homework prior to the film opening tomorrow.
