Credible, founded in 2012, allows consumers to compare personalized offers from vetted lenders on personal loans, credit cards, student loans and student loan refinancing. “I was drawn to Credible’s genuine commitment to transparency, which is a value I’ve embraced throughout my career, including my time with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau,” he said. “I’ve seen other financial services companies try to live up to a promise of transparency, and Credible stood out to me because transparency at Credible is more than a marketing message—it’s been baked into the company and its operations since its founding.” Danganan most recently served as general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary for Sindeo, a mortgage marketplace based in the Bay Area. Before joining Sindeo in 2014, Danganan worked as an enforcement attorney for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and as senior investigative counsel with the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, established in 2009 to examine the causes of the financial crisis in the United States. “Jobe brings to Credible a strong combination of extensive legal experience and considerable domain expertise that will be invaluable as we continue to execute on our growth strategy,” said Stephen Dash, founder and CEO of Credible, in the announcement of Danganan's hire. “We are excited to welcome him to our experienced executive team.”
