On the red carpet, Laverne Cox completely stole the show in a black-and-gold gown with a hip-high slit. The sexy, skin-baring look accentuated her fit physique as she confidently posed for photographers.

Many of the other big stars opted for the same color: Red! Angela Bassett, Niecy Nash, Kathryn Hahn and Wendi McLendon-Covey all donned the color in varying styles -- and they all looked stunning.

Another standout was first-time Emmy winner Alexis Bledel, who won for her role in "The Handmaid's Tale." The former "Gilmore Girls" actress looked positively beautiful in a sheer, flesh-toned ensemble with a high neckline and long sleeves. The ethereal look brought out Bledel's piercing blue eyes and provided a red carpet look for the ages.
