This couple’s prom look was getting a lot of attention on Instagram, but it completely blew up when it was revealed that this adorable prom dress was created for a little over $50.

MJ Johnson, who has garnered an Instagram following of over 14,000 for his unique takes on looks from Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj, shared photos of the dress he helped create for his date. The dress is fitted on the top with a sparkling blue design, and dramatically flows into a cascade of blue flowers.

After the original post about the dress inspired over 8,000 likes, MJ posted another shot explaining he bought his date the dress for $50 on Fashion Nova, and that she had the idea to add the flowers to the bottom. He wrote, “We both creative as hell.”

The post explaining how the cute dress was created has prompted over 44,000 likes as of this story, and saw commenters raving.

“Beautiful concept and flawless execution,” one person wrote. “That’s so cute, where can i find someone like you,” wrote another fan.

One asked an important question: “I just wanna know how much sis paid for all the flowers?”

We found similar flowers online for $24.14, and we’ve reached out to Johnson to find out how many flowers were used and what the cost was.

The photos that had everyone asking where she got that dress show Johnson matching the look in a sharp blue suit.

This is not Johnson’s first foray into being creative on Instagram. Back in April, he shared an image in which he copied one of Beyoncé’s Coachella looks at home, garnering nearly 1,500 likes.

He also copied Minaj’s “Chun-Li” look, but skipped the Fendi bikini bottom for men’s underwear. He nailed the fur jacket though!
