Crash on Taylor Rd. causes power outages
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A vehicle accident Tuesday morning caused portions of Taylor Road to close.
According to Chesapeake Public Works, Taylor Road between Clover Road and Bangor Drive closed to traffic due to a crash impacting a power pole in the area.
Crews responded to the scene to clear the road. There is currently no estimated time for a reopening.

Over 2,000 customers in the Churchland and Western Branch areas lost power as a result of the crash, according to Dominion Energy.
The estimated time of restoration for Dominion Energy customers is between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
