1 utility worker dead after being hit by car on SR-4 in Huber Heights
One utility company worker is confirmed to be dead after being hit by a car on State Route 4 in Huber Heights Sunday morning, according to a spokesperson for Huber Heights Police.

Police and medics were called to report of a person hit by a car on Northbound SR-4 near Chambersburg Road around 7:05 a.m.
Dispatchers said they received a call stating that a woman had hit a person who was in the middle of the road.
The person hit was transported by medics to Miami Valley Hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
The person was confirmed to be pulling cable lines that were to be installed, a spokesperson told News Center 7.
Identification of the man who died will be released pending notification of next of kin, a spokesperson said in a news release.

Northbound SR-4 was closed for three hours.
The crash remains under investigation.
