Crash on Sherwood sends two to hospital

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Two people were hospitalized after a driver failed to yield the right of way while turning at the Sherwood Way and Sunset Drive intersection in San Angelo on Wednesday evening, February 7, 2023.

Police say a 32-year-old woman driving a white Chevrolet Traverse attempted to turn left onto Sunset Drive and failed to yield to an oncoming Jeep. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.

Both of the Jeep’s occupants, a 66-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, were transported to Shannon Hospital downtown to be treated for minor injuries.

The Traverse driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way while turning left.
