Crash involving motorcycle backs up northbound I-15

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A crash involving a motorcycle prompted several lane closures on northbound Interstate 15 Wednesday morning.

According to a SigAlert from California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly before 6:45 a.m. past Friars Road and before Aero Drive.

Authorities reported a rider down and noted at least one vehicle was involved.

The left three lanes were temporarily closed but have since reopened.

No further details were immediately released.
