Crash on I-81N in Montgomery backing up traffic now cleared

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT says the crash on I-81N in Montgomery backing up traffic has been cleared.

Vehicle crash backing up traffic 1.5 miles on I-81N in Roanoke County

All lanes of traffic are now reopened.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation is reporting a vehicle accident on Interstate 81 North near mile marker 124.7 in Montgomery County.

The left northbound lane and shoulder and right shoulder are currently closed. Traffic is backed up around 5 miles. Drivers can expect delays until further notice.
