Craig Ferguson Brought His Potty Mouth to ‘Today’ … Again
The last time Craig Ferguson visited Today, he made the producers so nervous that they put the show on a five-second delay. They may have regretted not doing that for his most recent appearance.
Within the first two minutes of the morning show, he used an explicit sexual term that had the hosts wondering if one could say that on network television. Ferguson then went on to somehow turn potato chips and a decorative plant into sexual innuendos.
Despite Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb’s open-mouthed shock, they were happy Ferguson stopped by. Gifford said, “I find everything you say funny — upsetting on a deep, visceral level, but very funny.”
Ferguson responded, “That’s because you’re a good Christian and you forgive me almost instantly. That’s perfect. Perfect. I use your faith to my advantage.”
